Mortal Instruments

Regular tools crafted by the hand of the people.
Forged using natural methods and minimal infleunce of Naten. Most weapons, tools, or constructs fall under this category.

Mortal instruments can add +1 to your roll, but cannot possess special abilities.

Ascendant Instruments

Items crafted with the influence of Naten using special materials or instructions. They offering a new vessel through which the users can channel Naten. These tools have unique Traits they can impart to the wielder.

Ascendant Instruments add a +1 to your roll when using them and also have a Trait they offer the character using them.

Divine Instruments

These are tools with origins unknown, said to be crafted by all manner of means from the Unseen or beyond. Special, unique tools locked away from most of the world at large. They are hard to source and command phenomenal power heard of abilities that threaten the world itself.

Divine Instruments add a +1 to your roll and offer a Trait to the character using them. They also come with a special Arbiter that can only be used by one wielding the instrument.
